Students + researchers

Our core team includes graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. If you are interested in working with Blue Lab’s director and PI, Professor Allison Carruth, and joining our group, please contact Professor Carruth.

Blue Lab often has openings for Princeton undergraduate students to join projects as summer interns or research assistants, which are posted on the Opportunities page of the website.

Artists, journalists + designers

Blue Lab welcomes inquiries about artist / storyteller collaboration and residency opportunities as well as ideas for expanding the reach and impact of the lab’s Climate Stories Incubator (CSI). Please contact the lab’s Creative Director, Barron Bixler, with expressions of interest.

Prospective clients

If you or your organization is interested in working with Blue Lab to develop, test and implement an innovative platform or public program related to environmental storytelling, science communication or climate action, please contact the lab’s faculty director, Professor Allison Carruth.

Prospective funders

Founded in 2021, Blue Lab is in a period of evolution and expansion. Philanthropic support will be vital in the years ahead to support student and postdoctoral fellowships, artist and storyteller residencies, support for project collaborators and participants, fieldwork expenses and state-of-the art equipment for our space in Princeton’s Morrison Hall. To learn more about our work or arrange a meeting with the lab director, please contact Professor Allison Carruth.
